Food & Drink
Our menus are built around the seasons, supporting local and British produce, using carefully sourced grass-fed meat (including free range chicken), sustainable fish and with a renewed focus on plant-based dishes, all made fresh daily from a rotating menu. We have a team of five chefs but a small kitchen; at the busiest times we serve as quickly as possible but cannot perform miracles and will not sacrifice quality for speed.
Booking a Table
Book a table here for up to 13 guests or by phone or contact form (below) for enquiries of 14 or more guests. We have two zones: the pub and the heated Ski Lodge. Simply click Book A Table, select the table size and then select either zone from the drop down menu. Larger tables of 14+ will be offered a bespoke menu or simplified version of the current main menu. You can amend your reservation at any time by clicking amend booking in your confirmation email, or by calling us.
We currently have 12 tables on the front terrace, available by request, first come first served. They will be available for online booking when demand/weather necessitates. The opening of the lawned gardens has been delayed due to the poor weather this spring. We are currently waiting for grass to repair and are building a new dining area. Expecting opening Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend.
There is no need to make online reservations for drinks. If you anticipate being part of a large drinking group and want to be assured of space then give us a call. Dogs are welcome in all areas except the dining room (from Monday to Saturday).
Diners should always advise your server of any special dietary requirements, including intolerances and allergies. Where possible, our trained staff will advise you on alternative dishes. However, while we do our best to reduce the risk of cross-contamination in our restaurant, we CANNOT guarantee that any of our dishes are free from allergens and therefore cannot accept any liability in this respect. Guests with severe allergies are advised to assess their own level of risk and consume dishes at their own risk.
