Christmas Lunch menu - £23/head 

Starters

  • Chicken liver & duck foie gras parfait, granary toast, fig relish
  • Goat's cheese, butternut squash & red onion tartlet, dressed leaves
  • Crab & prawn cocktail, baby gem, cocktail sauce
  • Spiced parsnip soup, warm bread roll & butter

Mains

  • Turkey breast & thigh, sausage meat, sage & onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, pan gravy
  • Braised shin of beef, horseradish dumpling
  • Mushroom, cashew & almond wellington, chive & mushroom sauce
  • Fillet of salmon, herb crust, butter bean puree
  • Served with roast potatoes & parsnips, carrot & swede mash, braised red cabbage, sauté leek

Desserts

  • Cranberry & orange crème brulee, homemade shortbread
  • Chocolate Yule roulade, raspberries, soured cream
  • Panattone bread & butter pudding, brandy ice cream
  • Colston Bassett stilton & Keens mature cheddar, oat biscuits, Christmas chutney                            
Filter coffee, steamed milk, mince pie

Main £3 supplement

  • (all of the table need to order from this menu)
  • Slow braised belly pork w. crackling, mash potato cake, black pudding, sauté leeks, cider jus
  • Roast lamb rump, damson sauce, dauphinois potatoes, green beans
  • Fillet of sea bass with chorizo, new potatoes, olives, cherry tomatoes & red onion; rocket salad
  • 8oz aged rump steak, grilled portabella mushroom & tomato, roast new potatoes with rosemary & garlic, rocket leaves
  • Mushroom, cashew & almond wellington, chive & mushroom sauce (no supplement)
