MILLFEST
Held on 25th July 2009, our summer garden party was a huge success. The weather held, the beer flowed, the bands rocked and the crowds turned up in their hundreds! Next year's Millfest has already been pencilled in for Saturday 24th July 2010. Don't miss it!
OLDE ENGLISH LUNCH CLUB
Thursday 18th March 1pm - St Patricks Day theme, one day late.
Friday 23rd April 1pm - St Georges Day with Classic British Car show. Please come along with or without your pre-1980 British car. The menu will include Rib of Beef but dining is not obligatory.
QUIZ & CURRY NIGHT
The next of these brilliant evenings hosted by John and Linda Bird is in September, date TBC. Food is from 7pm, quiz starts at 9pm. Maximum team size six people. Please book.
"RISING LITTLE STARS"
is a new regular event at The Rising Sun aimed at parents with (or without) their babies and pre-school children.
Starting at 10am there'll be a free session with Molly Moo cow music group, free portrait photography sessions, taster aromatherapy sessions and stalls that include
Thursday's Child Gifts - a new local business selling gorgeous children's clothes and inspiring gifts, as well as Phoenix Trading (cards) and others.
The first event will be on Thursday 25 March at 10am and then they'll be every third Thursday of the month from then on.
